Hello there, I'm Allison.

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re carrying invisible burdens. You might find yourself wondering why others seem to manage just fine while you’re struggling just to make it through the day. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to do this by yourself.

Whole-Person Counseling That Meets You Where You Are

Mental health touches every part of your life: your body, your thoughts, your relationships, and your spirit. When one area suffers, the others feel it too. That’s why I take a holistic approach to counseling, supporting you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms.

How I Approach Therapy

My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in research-backed methods. I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful therapy for healing distressing memories and trauma. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and polyvagal theory to help regulate the nervous system and support meaningful, lasting change. Sessions are always personalized to fit your needs, your pace, and your goals.

I’m also neurodivergent-affirming and experienced in working with clients who process the world in unique ways. Whether you’ve had a formal diagnosis or are still figuring things out, I’ll meet you with curiosity, flexibility, and respect.

Who I Work With

Adults and teens navigating:

♦ Anxiety and overwhelm

♦ Depression

♦ Trauma and PTSD

♦ Grief and loss

♦ Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

♦ Major life transitions

♦ Burnout and emotional fatigue

♦ Neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism

Support for First Responders and Faith Communities

I have a heart for supporting first responders and their families, who often carry invisible stress and trauma while continuing to serve others. This is a space where you can take off the armor, process what you’ve been through, and reconnect with yourself—without fear of judgment.

As a pastor’s wife, I also understand the unique challenges that come with leadership in faith-based spaces. I’ve seen how emotional and mental struggles can be minimized in Christian communities. But I want you to know: your faith and your mental health are not in conflict. Needing support doesn’t make you weak—it makes you human.

A Space Where You Can Be Fully You

Whether or not you share my faith, you’ll find a respectful and affirming environment here. I’m geek-friendly, down-to-earth, and happy to bring your interests—whether it’s creative outlets, fandoms, or pop culture—into the therapy space. The more you can be yourself here, the more meaningful our work can be.
