Helping Teens & Young Adults Navigate Anxiety, Emotions & Life Transitions

Has your teen seemed more anxious, irritable, angry, sad, or withdrawn lately? Maybe they’re struggling at school, pulling away from family, changing friend groups, or having a harder time managing their emotions. You can tell something is different, but getting them to talk about what’s really going on can be difficult.
As a parent, it can be hard to know what to do. You want to give your teen space, but you also don’t want them struggling alone.

I enjoy working with teens and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, and the uncertainty that can come with growing up and becoming more independent. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can talk openly, begin understanding what they’re experiencing, and learn healthier ways to manage difficult emotions and situations.

For young adults, this season can bring a different kind of pressure. College, work, relationships, family expectations, increased responsibilities, and decisions about the future can leave you feeling anxious or unsure of yourself. Counseling can give you a place to slow down, understand what you’re feeling, and develop the confidence and coping skills you need for what comes next.

My goal is to help teens and young adults recognize patterns that may be getting in their way, strengthen their coping skills, improve important relationships, and build a healthy emotional foundation for adulthood.

Whether you’re a parent looking for someone to come alongside your child or a young adult looking for support for yourself, I would be honored to assist you on the journey.
